With the World Juniors coverge over the last few weeks and the Olympics coming up Canadian tv has already seen an overload of hockey. ( You know the sport that no one cares about south of Ohio with the exception of Colorado.) Don't get me wrong hockey isn't the worst sport in the world and I do enjoy watching it live but with all the coverage I'm suprised we haven't been given updates everytime Brodeur takes a dump. This brings me to the stuff I'm being forced to pay for: Shit I don't watch. The CRTC should be sued for forcing us to watch all this Canadian content that no one gives a fuck about. Like seriously who in the fuck finds Corner Gas funny? I'd laugh more at the funeral of Brittany Murphy than I would at a whole season of Corner Gas. Da Kink in my Hair: A failed attempt of gaining the black audience and for a show once on Global it has now made it's way down the ranks to Showcase. The channel which is now most known for softcore porn on late night fridays that we all watched as kids. Little Mosque on the Prairie got stale after the first couple episodes and don't get me started on the faggot Queer as Folk, Metropia, and Paradise Falls that were all gracing the tv at one point or another. Who the fuck writes this shit? It's not funny. It does not belong on tv and the actors are less exciting than watching Bryant Gumble call a game. Brent Butt and funny goes together like Blacks and the KKK and the hockey coverage every fucking day about U20 kids is starting to make realize that the title "Hockey Analyst" should be replaced with the name Joe Rogan. Giving credit where credit is due, Canadian TV has produced some great shows: Trailor Park Boys and Kenny vs Spenny (If you like that Jackass-sorta shit). But these days flicking through the channels you question who re watches retarded shit like Corner Gas and why can't we just have more ESPNs, HBO, a movie channel  and another religious channel that shows more comedies like Benny Hynn. More soccer coverage would be nice as well ( Yes I said soccer because I'm addressing a North American audience so pipe down limies) CRTC: stop forcing me to pay for this shit. The only time I ever want a girl to say "Hurry Hard" is during sex. Come on it's 2010, curling is for inbreds and those forced to wear a helmet to bed.


Recapping last nights picks: I'm not too happy with the way Atlanta laid it down against the Heat or the fact that there was defense in the Fiesta Bowl. 2 high-powered offenses decided on the final game of the season to play defense gives the win to Vegas. Have no fear though, Boise covered and won an entertaining game leaving us at 1-2 for the night and 10-8 for the season.

New Jersey Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks....Bucks -1.5

I'm not even going to research this one because I would take a -1.5 against the Nets if they were playing against the Univerity of Toronto female intramurals team. This line is just too juicy to avoid.

Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings......Suns -2.5

I know the Kings play teams tough at homes but once again this is a line I'm always going to bite. The Suns got raped 128-103 on January 2nd to the Memphis Grizzlies so except them to come back with fire to get that loss out of their minds.

Aston Villa vs Blackburn Rovers......Aston Villa (+150)

Switching it up a bit we're going to across the Atlantic to lay it down on some (soccer/footy) These 2 met on the weekend in the FA Cup with Villa taking it 3-1. It's now the Carling Cup and I expect Villa to take care of things away from home. They'll be wanting that Europa League spot and Blackburn (who did beat Chelsea in pks) won't be able to match this dynamic Villa squad.
